Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) has announced Ginnie Hollis, formerly the Senior Manager of Engineering, will take on a new role as Director of Engineering for the company.
In her new position, Hollis will work closely with iGaming clients of GLI to streamline processes and testing services, along with onboarding new clients. In addition to this, Hollis will coordinate communication between iGaming operators, regulators, and suppliers surrounding regulatory and operational needs.
Hollis is considered a leader and a champion for women in STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) and her advancement in the company is evidence of this. When asked about women pursuing a career in STEM, Hollis said: "Absolutely go for it. Women can do anything and we’re here proving that every day."
GLI Vice President of Engineering Mackenzie Haugh commented: "Ginnie is an unbelievable role model, relentlessly ensuring both her teams and her customers receive a world-class experience. In her new position, she will bring that same passion to an even larger audience, driving more success for her customers and teams."
Hollis first started with GLI as a Test Engineer Level 1 in 2005. Since then, she advanced to Senior Engineer, Technical Engineering Manager and Senior Manager of Engineering.
In June of this year, GLI announced the hiring of Steve May as Client Solutions Executive and Samuel Grunther as Account Executive.
May has a background in pari-mutuel, racing and compliance. He also served as Director of Pari-Mutuel Wagering and Compliance for the Kentucky Horse Racing Commission, and Vice President/Business Manager for the Association of Racing Commissioners International.
Grunther's background includes experience in the iGaming and sports betting industry. In his role with GLI, he provides ongoing commercial and client support to both suppliers and operators.
Since 1989, GLI has certified nearly two million items and has tested equipment for more than 480 jurisdictions.
