The candy brand revealed agreements with Team Liquid, Esports Arena and Team Dignitas.

More eSports partnerships are being revealed as Mike and Ike have announced three collaborations with Team Liquid, Esports Arena, and Team Dignitas.

The goal is to allow amateur gamers to compete amongst some of the best players in North America. In partnership with Team Liquid, Mike and Ike revealed The Next Wave scouting combine.

Tournaments will be judged by gaming pros and content creators, giving prospective gamblers a chance to win a $25,000 prize pool for top finishers and earn a spot on Team Liquid. Starting on June 30, fans can watch episodes of The Next Wave every Thursday.

Starting in July, Mike and Ike became official sponsors of Esports Arena. The company will support a team in the Series E competition for semi-professional gamers.

The company's partnership with Team Dignitas makes Mike and Ike the Official Candy Partner of the Dignitas Fortnite Team. This new agreement will also bring about a new event, The Fortnite Flavor Brawl Powered by Mike and Ike.

News surrounding eSports continue to pop up with a recent announcement from X1 Esports. The company agreed to acquire Tyrus Talent Services, a management group for digital content creators.

CEO Mark Elfenbein of X1 commented: "The Tyrus platform expertly bridges the gap between international brands and the gaming ecosystem. The addition of the Company to our portfolio will help to establish X1 as an advertising sales organization with access to some of the most sought-after content creators in the video games category."

Tyrus has partnered with content creators to provide management of YouTube, TikTok, Twitch and other social media channels since 2019.
