FanDuel, part of Flutter Entertainment, sets date for the Chicago FanFest

Various acts and celebrity appearances are on the docket for the festival in September.
Tickets to the Chicago FanFest are on sale right now after an announcement by FanDuel and Flutter Entertainment. The date for the event is Saturday, September 10th at Guaranteed Rate Field.
The one-day festival includes performances by various artists but will be headlined by Wiz Khalifa and DJ/producer Alesso. The Chicago FanFest will also feature sports experiences with notable names such as Brian Urlacher, Devin Hester and Charles Tillman.
Senior Vice President of Brand, FanDuel Group, Andrew Sneyd commented: “We are excited to bring our successful and highly-entertaining FanDuel FanFest event to the great city of Chicago.”
Sneyd continued: “Between the amazing musical performances featuring Wiz Khalifa and Alesso, and the legendary athletes like Brian Urlacher and Devin Hester who will be in attendance, this event will have something for all and is just another way for us to do something extraordinary to celebrate our customers and sports betting in the state of Illinois.”
FanDuel’s Superstar Showdown is another attraction that attendees can watch. This event will see Chicago sports legends competing against each other in various sports challenges such as ax throwing, connect 4 basketball, quarterback challenge, H-O-R-S-E and more.
Along with watching the events fans can also predict who they think will win via FanDuel’s Free-2-Play game. Food trucks, a pop-up FanDuel Sports Bar and Lounge, brand activations, trophy photo ops and other offerings will be available as well.
Recently, FanDuel revealed a new television commercial, featuring golfers Abraham Ancer, Will Zalatoris, Harold Varner III, and current FanDuel PGA TOUR partner, Jordan Spieth.
The TV spot highlights FanDuel’s growth with the PGA TOUR and allows FanDuel access to the players’ names and likenesses. The golfers will also partner with FanDuel to provide social media support and content surrounding FanDuel Free-to-Play initiatives.
The commercial will air during this week’s US Open and continue through February 2023.
