Tom Masterman named Vice President, Revenue for Sharplink Gaming

Masterman will focus his efforts on strengthening existing customer and partner relationships.
SharpLink Gaming Ltd., a company providing targeted, data-driven user engagement and conversion solutions for the US sports betting and iGaming industries, announced its new Vice President of Revenue, Tom Masterman.
Masterman as Vice President, Revenue, is tasked with guiding and directing SharpLink’s direct enterprise sales activities and processes to generate new business and develop existing customer and partner relationships.
He brings to SharpLink over a decade of experience and a track record for driving new business. He was previously a senior ranking sales executive for Sportradar US and Genius Sports Media.
SharpLink CEO Rob Phythian commented: “Tom was a key member of my executive team at Sports Data and Sportradar US, so I am keenly aware and appreciative of the deep skill, industry relationships and business-building talent that he brings SharpLink.”
He continued: “We are thrilled to have brought him onboard and fully expect that he will have a marked impact on the future success of our Company.”
Before joining SharpLink, Masterman was Vice President of Sales at ShotTracker. During his time there he integrated sports data into enterprise clients including ESPN and CBS Sports. Prior to that, he served as Global Head of Publisher Sales at Genius Sports Group.
In 2013, Masterman was Chief Revenue Officer at Sportradar US until 2017. While he was with the company he directed enterprise sales activities, adding customers such as CBS Sports, Yahoo Sports, Sports Illustrated, FanDuel and others.
In regards to his arrival at Sharplink, Masterman said: “I am so excited to once again be working with Rob, who is a smart, inspirational leader and industry visionary.”
