DraftKings has launched its iGaming platform in the state of West Virginia. Players around the state will have access to a variety of iGaming products and live dealer games that include roulette, baccarat and infinite blackjack, as well as the well-known DraftKings game, Rocket.
DraftKings’ live dealer games feature an in-person dealer instead of a system that uses a computer with Random Number Generator (RNG) software. This gives players an opportunity to face off against other people at shared tables.
The company’s Rocket game is an exclusive in-house development. Rocket features a multiplayer and interactive option and delivers real-money potential payouts to its players. West Virginia players can access this and other games through DraftKings Casino, which they can download for iPhone, Android or find on the company’s website.
DraftKings Casino offers more than 500 games and offers millions of dollars in prizes to its players.
DraftKings is a digital sports, entertainment and gaming company that was started in 2012 by Jason Robins, Matt Kalish and Paul Liberman. The company recently extended its collaboration with UFC and will focus on another version of its Reignmakers gamified digital collectibles franchise.
The new iteration, called Reignmakers UFC, is currently in development. The NFT-based games for the first season of Reignmakers UFC are scheduled to launch later this year.
Fans will have access to prize earnings and chances to earn collectibles of their favorite UFC fighters as part of the new release. Players will be able to begin collecting the initial NFTs of fighters through a series of drops and actions in DraftKings’ Heatwave Series.
The series will follow UFC’s summer event schedule, with the first fight taking place on July 2, 2022.
