The agreement marks its first sportsbook release in the South American nation.

Gaming Innovation Group’s (GiG) Sportnco subsidiary has signed another agreement with one of its current partners to provide the Colombia market with its sportsbook and player account management (PAM)

Through this most recent agreement, GiG has gained access to a third regulated market, bringing with it an opportunity to provide its services and software.

GiG was founded in 2012. The technology company provides products, solutions and services to iGaming operators.

GiG acquired Sportnco in 2022, which is already active in Colombia with another client. However, the latest signed agreement represents the company’s first Colombian sportsbook launch.

Sportnco has been operating since 2010. The company is live in France, Spain, Belgium, Portugal and Greece, as well as in South America and the United States.

Sportnco Gaming Group Managing Director Hervé Schlosser said increasing demands in Latin America point to the company’s future success within the region.

He commented: “The growing demand is a clear sign that we have created a sportsbook solution that is recognized as an industry leader within the iGaming industry.”

Schlosser went on to add that the company is excited that its client has agreement to continue the existing partnership.

“It makes us very proud that a leading tier one operator has once again placed trust in our technology and services for another market,” he said. “We are looking forward to strengthening our relationship with our long-term partner within Colombia.”

Gaming Innovation Group is based in Malta. The company is listed on the Nasdaq Stockholm under the ticker symbol GIGSEK and the Oslo Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol GIG.
