The supplier has been granted approval to release its platform of games into the province.

Supplier 1X2 Network has been given the green light to release its full suite of games throughout the Canadian province of Ontario. The move will expand upon the company’s existing Canadian presence through its partnership with Loto-Québec.

Pending certification, 1X2 Network’s products will be available to local operators, led by its 1X2 gaming and Iron Dog Studio brands.

Players throughout the province will have access to well-known titles such as Strike, Blazing 777s, Battle Maidens and Phoenix Inferno.

Online gaming in Ontario has been live since April 4. Local lotteries have traditionally dominated Canada’s gambling sector. According to H2 Gambling Capital, Canada’s combined online sports betting and iCasino markets in 2022 are estimated at more than $2bn.

Ontario is projected to become one of North America’s largest iGaming markets once open.

1X2 Network Account Management and Marketing Director Rory Kimber commented: “Ontario promises to be one of the largest online casino markets in North America, so it made absolute sense for 1X2 Network as a leading provider of premium slot and table game content to enter the province.

“Having gained experience in delivering our games to players in Canada via our partnership with Loto-Québec, we know what it takes to engage, entertain and excite players and the suite of content we will launch in Ontario has been designed to do just that.”

1X2 Network is also licensed in the UK, Malta, Gibraltar, Isle of Man, Sweden, Spain, Colombia, Italy, Romania and Greece. The company claims joining the Ontario market falls in line with its vision to deliver slots and table games to “key regulated jurisdictions in Europe and beyond."
