The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) has issued Bragg Gaming Group a regulatory approval to operate iGaming in the state. The approval was Bragg’s final step to advance its pending deal to acquire Spin Games. The company anticipates finalizing the deal later this month.
Bragg Chief Strategy Officer Yaniv Spielberg commented: “We appreciate the PGCB’s staff members’ diligence in reviewing our license application and thank them for the approval to enter Pennsylvania’s iGaming market.”
Spielberg said the company is still focused on closing its Spin Games deal. During 2021, Bragg received all required regulatory approvals from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board to acquire Spin Games.
“Reflecting this license approval, we look forward to completing our acquisition of Spin Games in the next few weeks,” he said. “Since announcing the planned acquisition, we have worked closely with the Spin Games’ team to complete the technical integration between our Remote Game Server (RGS) and their technology platform and as a result, we are ready to begin operating in several US markets very quickly following the completion of the acquisition later this month.”
Spin Games is a content and technology provider that services the US market. The company holds iGaming licenses in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Connecticut.
Spielberg went on to add that the company hopes closing the deal for Spin Games will be mutually beneficial to its business and to its customers.
“We expect the Spin Games and our RGS combined offering will deliver the benefits of our advanced player engagement, data tools and platform technology alongside Spin Games’ US market content and operator relationships, providing for a differentiated and widely distributed iGaming product offering,” he said.
Bragg Gaming Group is a global B2B gaming technology and content provider and was founded in 2018. Since then, the company has expanded across Europe, Latin America and North America. Bragg plans to secure agreements with other online casino operators to continue building its brand worldwide.
Earlier in the year, Bragg was granted a supplier license to operate in the Bahamas. The company has gained licensing in several other regulated markets worldwide during the past 12 months, including the UK, the Netherlands, Greece, Switzerland and the Czech Republic.
The company also operates in Nevada through its subsidiary, Wild Streak Gaming, which offers its portfolio of casino games to land-based, online and social media casino operators throughout the US and the UK.
