Slots titles available to players in Michigan, West Virginia.

Fantasma Games on Monday said its games portfolio will debut exclusively on the BetMGM Casino platform in Michigan and West Virginia.

The first games to be made available to players are Wins of Nautilus Megaways and Bounty Showdown, with additional titles set to follow, Fantasma said.

The parties said all of Sweden-based Fantasma’s slots eventually will be delivered to BetMGM via the studio’s US distribution partner, Light & Wonder (formerly Scientific Games).

Wins of Nautilus Megaways, which became available on May 5 in West Virginia and will debut May 12 in Michigan, takes inspiration from Jules Verne’s “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea.” The studio says players embark on an underwater adventure in which there are bonuses to discover.

Bounty Showdown, available on May 5 in Michigan and May 12 in West Virginia, puts players right in the middle of a Wild West showdown, the studio said.

The launch was facilitated by Light & Wonder’s OpenGaming content aggregation platform. The companies involved said this highlights how the ecosystem allows game creators such as Fantasma to increase their audience reach and penetrate new territories.

“This is a milestone moment for Fantasma Games and something we have been working on for almost three years, marking our arrival in the fast-growing US market,” Fredrik Johansson, Founder and CEO at Fantasma Games, said in a statement. “Each of our games has been designed to deliver experiences beyond gambling and this is achieved by combining themes with gameplay. To enter the US market in Michigan and West Virginia with BetMGM, a sports betting and iGaming operator, is a testament that our games can attract the interest necessary for the US market, on top of all the proven markets in Europe. We look forward to BetMGM’s players enjoying the high levels of excitement and entertainment that our slots deliver.”

Oliver Bartlett, Director of Gaming, BetMGM added: “BetMGM continually invests in its games portfolio. We are pleased to introduce our players to Fantasma Games, exclusively beginning in Michigan and West Virginia.”

Steve Mayes, Director of Partnerships at Light & Wonder, said: “Fantasma Games is home to a creative team that produces highly entertaining and immersive games, and has already built a strong reputation among our OpenGaming operator partners. Providing studios with routes into important markets such as those in the US, in conjunction with an operator brand as strong as BetMGM, is a key part of our mission and we firmly believe players in Michigan and West Virginia will love the content on offer.”
