The Las Vegas Invitational will have accommodations at Resorts World Las Vegas and will play 36 holes at the Angel Park Golf Club. The event will also feature an NFL Draft viewing party and a winner-take-all poker tournament.
Players will compete for more than $400,000 in cash and prizes. The lineup will feature World Series, Super Bowl and NBA Champions, along with film, television and music artists.
The official player roster is expected to be released in the next couple weeks.
More than 60 people are expected to participate this year. Some will compete as amateurs and will donate their winnings to their selected charity. The Greens Golf Association will present its proceeds to The First Tee, a charity organization that teaches life skills to underprivileged youth through its golf platform.
Entrepreneurs Michael Sherman and Matthew Gavin founded The Greens Celebrity Golf Association. The league is made up of celebrities, actors, musicians and entertainment industry influencers, as well as active and retired athletes.
