Atlantic City casinos to celebrate March Madness

The city’s properties are set to launch a range of new offers and deals ahead of the competition.

Atlantic City is gearing up for the National College Basketball Championship, with each of the city's properties offering new and celebratory deals ahead of the tournament’s beginning.

Ahead of this month of college basketball, the Casino Association of New Jersey (CANJ) has compiled a list of every celebration at each of the city’s casinos and sportsbooks.

“Atlantic City casinos are ready to welcome college basketball fans to enjoy one of the biggest sporting events of the year,” said Joe Lupo, President of the CANJ.

“Fans will enjoy a premier gaming experience while visiting our world-class destination as they watch the excitement of the games unfold. We are pleased to provide a wide variety of industry-leading sportsbooks, food and beverage specials and exclusive entertainment offerings throughout the month.”

Bally’s Atlantic City is beginning its celebrations on March 15, allowing bettors to book seats to experience the matchups at the property’s FanDuel-sponsored sportsbook. The Borgata Hotel and Casino, meanwhile, is launching its celebrations on March 17, and will allow betting to take place across its BetMGM sportsbook and bar.

Caesars Entertainment will also allow fans to watch each of the championship’s games across all of its sportsbooks in the city, including the Caesars Sportsbook at Wild Wild West, the Tropicana Sportsbook and Hooters Atlantic City, among other locations.

As the competition fast approaches, other operators in the city are preparing their March Madness plans, with Hard Rock, Golden Nugget and Ocean Casino Hotel all offering fans the chance to experience March Madness at each of their sportsbooks.

The upcoming March Madness is likely to rival, or even surpass, the Super Bowl in the sheer number of bets that players across the US will place. Indeed, with more states legalizing sports betting every month, with New York State being the nation’s most recent addition, we are likely to see the biggest March Madness in legal sports betting history.
