The release is the latest series of moves to expand its brand throughout the US.

Caesars Entertainment, Inc. has released its Caesars Sportsbook mobile app in Illinois. This gives state residents the option of downloading the app and having access to mobile sports betting regardless of what part of the state they reside.

The company has had a foothold in Illinois for a while through the Harrah's Joliet, Harrah's Metropolis, and Grand Victoria Casino Elgin locations. The debut of its mobile app is an added layer to Caesars’ continuing plans for brand expansion.

Illinois players who download the app and register for the first time will have access to incentives through the Caesars Rewards program. Bettors can earn tier credits, rewards credits and unlock cash bonuses when they place wagers.

Players will also have the option to insure their first bet for up to $1,100. If that bet isn’t a winning one, players can receive a free bet equal to their first wager, up to the $1,100 limit.

Caesars Digital Co-President Chris Holdren said: "We're pleased to launch our best mobile sports wagering product and to reach more sports fans in Illinois. This is an important step for us as we continue to expand our offering of best-in-class rewards for sports fans across the state."

The Caesars Sportsbook app is live in 22 states and jurisdictions, including 16 mobile ones.

Caesars Sportsbook also made its Super Bowl advertising debut in last month’s Big Game. The 30-second spot appeared during the Super Bowl LVI’s second quarter. The commercial featured actor and comedian J.B. Smoove playing Julius Caesar, actress Halle Berry as Caesar’s lover, Cleopatra. Eli, Peyton, Archie and Cooper Manning had cameo appearances as themselves.

Caesars Sportsbook began its advertising campaign last August.
