The Hoosier state is the latest in a series of US states where the company plans to launch.

Internet Vikings has announced plans to launch in Indiana, adding to its US list of gaming operations. The Swedish company’s data center went live in the Hoosier State during the fourth quarter of last year.

The company has gained a license in other US states as part of its strategy to gain a larger stateside foothold. The Michigan Gaming Control Board issued Internet Vikings a license last month.

Kristoffer Ottosson, Head of Hosting Services, said: “It is just wonderful to see how the US is responding to our innovative offerings. As we have moved across the states, we have quickly acquired customers and had amazing results."

As of 2019, the Hoosier State has become home to nearly 13 land-based and riverboat casinos, which have been verified by the Indiana Gaming Commission. Growing interest in gambling has led to additional developments since then, creating three licensing categories: certificate holders, vendors and service providers. Online sports betting has also been added to the list of authorized operators in Indiana.

Internet Vikings’ Co-Founder and CCO, Rickard Vikström, said the company is delighted to begin operations in Indiana.

“All that we want, all that we strive for, year after year, is to assist others in recognizing and embracing the blossoming world of online gaming. We are really happy to have taken another step across America and Indiana is certainly another significant milestone on this journey.”

Internet Vikings is live in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, West Virginia and Connecticut. It also has a data center in the Canadian province of Ontario.
