The company is among the first registered gaming and sports betting operators in the province.

Rivalry Corporation, an internationally regulated sports betting and media company, has become a fully registered operator of internet gaming and sports betting in Ontario.

The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario has approved Rivalry’s registration. According to the company, it has become one of the first to be registered as a gaming operator in the province.

Rivalry currently operates in 18 countries.

Steven Salz, Co-Founder and CEO of Rivalry, said the company is pleased to be registered and is excited to be able to offer products to Ontario users.

“We are very pleased to be one of the first companies to be registered as an internet gaming operator in Ontario,” said Salz. “As a proud Toronto-founded and based company, it’s a particular privilege to be able to finally offer our innovative product legally and responsibly in our backyard. I’m confident we will deliver a differentiated experience that will elevate what consumers think sports betting can be.”

Rivalry continues to work with iGaming Ontario, a Government of Ontario agency which conducts and manages internet gaming in the province that is provided through private gaming operators.

The two will work together to complete all final requisite steps in preparation for Ontario’s upcoming launch on April 4, 2022.

Rivalry wholly owns and operates Rivalry Limited, which now holds an Isle of Man license it acquired in 2018. The company is currently in the process of obtaining additional country licenses.
