Bally’s Las Vegas to undergo multi-million dollar rebranding

Caesars Entertainment to make casino the next outpost of the Horseshoe brand.
Bally’s Las Vegas will undergo a multi-million dollar rebranding starting this spring. Caesars Entertainment plans to turn Bally’s Las Vegas into a Horseshoe Casino.
The rebranding will allow the World Series of Poker to reunite with the Horseshoe brand after more than a dozen years at the Rio.
Horseshoe was the World Series of Poker’s original home. It has properties in Baltimore, Illinois, Louisiana, Iowa and Mississippi.
“The Horseshoe brand is the most legendary brand in gaming,” Jason Gregorec, Senior Vice President and General Manager of the property. “To be able to bring the Horseshoe brand to the Las Vegas Strip at the most iconic intersection of Las Vegas is a perfect fit.”
Renovations on the 2,810-room property will begin with the poker room and later branch out to the exterior, casino floor and other public areas. Other additions will include a new marquee and three new restaurants.
“When you look at the other Horseshoes, the design is sophistication and elegance, but approachable,” Gregorec said.
Hotel rooms will not be included in the renovation and will remain open for booking during the project.
Caesars expects to have the transformation completed by the end of this year. It plans to expand the property’s poker room and brand it as a World Series of Poker room before the tournament’s opening.
“The original Horseshoe put poker on the map. It’s important for us to reestablish that on the Las Vegas Strip,” Gregorec said. “When you go in there, you will definitely feel the World Series of Poker in images, upgraded experiences, tables and chairs.”
