BetMGM, the sports betting and iGaming arm of MGM Resorts International, has revealed the first architectural renderings of its new sportsbook built in partnership with the Arizona Cardinals.
Located on the State Farm Stadium campus, this 17,000-square-foot sports betting venue is set to open in time for the 2022 football season. If the project concludes on schedule, it will be the first sportsbook to open at an NFL stadium.
BetMGM leadership is evidently excited about the project, with CEO Adam Greenblatt highlighting what it will add to the gameday experience.
"The Arizona Cardinals and BetMGM are both committed to enhancing the gameday experience for fans in new and creative ways," he said.
"The BetMGM Sportsbook at State Farm Stadium will be one of the most unique and innovative additions to a venue that the sports and entertainment industry has ever seen."
The property, which will also be open on non-match days, will feature two-stories, a number of dining options, over 25 sports betting kiosks, and a 265-square-foot video wall with 38 TVs to enhance the match viewing experience for patrons.
Moreover, the building will feature dual entrances from both sides of The Great Lawn. Construction has already begun on the property. The sportsbook will have a capacity of over 500.
Cardinals owner Michael Bidwill noted the importance of the team’s partnership with BetMGM when he spoke of the project.
He said: "Since the launch of our partnership with BetMGM last August, the response has been incredible. When this sportsbook opens next season, it will provide an opportunity to engage and entertain our fans in a way that is unprecedented."
