Aoki will collaborate with the company to develop a new look and feel for its brand.

Steve Aoki, a two-time Grammy nominated DJ and producer, has agreed a deal with the World Poker Tour (WPT) to become an ambassador for the brand. Aoki will work together with the WPT to develop a full revamp of its look and feel ahead of the brand’s 20th anniversary.

"It's such an honor to be joining the WPT family,” Aoki noted.

“I have watched and admired the WPT for many, many years and to now be part of the WPT family; it feels so surreal and I am incredibly grateful,” he continued.

This new role will also see the famed DJ engage with fans and competitors at a number of WPT events throughout 2022. Aoki has a history with the game of poker, taking part in the 2021 World Poker Tour Heads-Up Poker Championship.

“The passion and energy in which Steve Aoki approaches every aspect of his life is both inspiring and very much in line with the new vision of the WPT,” said Adam Pliska, World Poker Tour CEO, praisingly.

“Steve’s love of poker and his dedication to inspiring others to live life to the fullest makes him the ideal WPT brand ambassador. We are honored to have him play an active role in our transformation and in the celebration of World Poker Tour’s 20th anniversary.”

As Aoki works to create brand awareness for the WPT, the two will partner for a charity event in Las Vegas, organized by the Aoki Foundation. This event will have the express goal of supporting organizations in the brain science and research areas, focusing on regenerative medicine and brain preservation.
