GeoComply hires new Director of Global Markets

The new hire comes at a time of expansion for the company.

GeoComply has announced Sarafina Wolde Gabriel as its new Senior Director of Global Markets.

The move is indicative of the Canadian cybersecurity and data company’s desire to expand its compliance and anti-fraud services internationally.

Among other industries, GeoComply is heavily involved in servicing the iGaming market.

The company’s focus on these areas is key as its suite of services revolves around cybersecurity and fraud prevention. In order to better ensure protection for customers, it has worked to better saefguard users' digital identities. The company famously uses geolocation compliance to ensure protection.

GeoComply is keen to welcome her to the new role and hope that her hiring will help undergird a time of transformation and growth for the company.

As Managing Director of Gaming Lindsey Slader commented: “Sarafina’s experience in gaming and digital technology fills a critical role for supporting GeoComply’s global market expansion.

“We are excited to have her bolster our relationships with gaming industry clients, regulator and partners across the globe.”

Gabriel brings to the role almost twenty years of experience in the world of digital technology. Prior to coming to GeoComply, she worked at Income Access, a subsidiary of Paysafe, another online payments company that also specializes in fraud detection.

While at Paysafe, she attained the role of Vice President of Strategy.

Prior to entering the industry, Gabriel received a Bachelors at Concordia University before obtaining a Masters in marketing from the University of Surrey in the UK.
