Will allow for the smooth movement of money across the new betting platform.

MaximBet, the online sports betting outlet owned by the Carousel Group, has chosen as its payment platform Global Payments Gaming Solutions, which provides the technology for the seamless movement of money in the iGaming and mobile betting sphere.

The move is an indication that Carousel Group expects growth in these online betting sectors.

The adoption of the Global Payments will allow registered players to game at over 500 land-based and online locations.

As company President Christopher Justice commented: “As consumers are increasingly preferring digital services and solutions, the demand for iGaming is growing as well. Through the implementation of our iGaming solutions, Carousel Group can tap a multi-channel approach to provide patrons with the flexibility to game from any location they operate in.”

The announcement marks a maturing for MaximBet, which only launched in Colorado in September of this year. By leveraging its partnership with the men’ s lifestyle brand Maxim, the subsidiary is able to offer players advantages that other betting players can’t, such as access to real-life athletes and celebrities. In addition to where it went live, MaximBet is active in Indiana, Iowa, New Jersey, Ohio and Pennsylvania.

Management at the Carousel Group sees the integration of the payment platform as key for further growth. As Andrei Dinescu, Head of Payments, Risk, & Fraud, commented: “iGaming is one of the fastest growing segments of the gaming industry today, and as more states green light online sports betting consumers demand a fast, secure and easy way to begin playing.

“Global Payments Gaming’s suite of iGaming products provides the excellent user experience that our customers demand with the security and compliance needed to run a profitable online sports book.”
