National Lacrosse League launches Pick ‘Em platform in partnership with Genius Sports

The free-to-play game will be available for weekly and season-long competitions.

Genius Sports, one of the US’ largest sports data providers, has announced the launch of a Pick ‘Em platform in partnership with the National Lacrosse League.

Per the agreement, fans are set to answer 10 weekly questions ahead of the weekends Lacrosse games for the chance to win $10,000 and other prizes.

“NLL Pick ‘Em is another way that fans can stay engaged with the league and its players on a deeper level, encouraging greater knowledge of the game and rewarding our most loyal supporters,” said NLL Commissioner Nick Sakiewicz.

Set to be free-to-play, Genius will provide its suite of sports data to the lacrosse league. This follows the decision earlier in the year that saw Genius develop the NLL Summer Poling Challenge, a fan questionnaire asking lacrosse fans their views on a variety of topics.

“And with all of our games more accessible in the US and Canada, following the progress of their NLL Pick ‘Em selections will be easier than ever,” Saloewicz continued.

The announcement follows yesterday’s disclosure of the purchase of common stock by members of Genius’ Board of Directors.

Genius Sports provides full sporting data for some of the world’s most prominent leagues including the NFL, English Premier League, Nascar, Liga MX, Euroleauge basketball and Colombian soccer.

Q3 saw the company’s revenue grow by 70%, fueled by high-profile agreements with BetMGM, FanDuel, Golden Nugget, Hard Rock Digital, Barstool Sportsbook and Caesars Entertainment.
