USAbility on Monday unveiled a partnership with Fubo Gaming, a subsidiary of sports-first live TV streaming platform fuboTV Inc.
Fubo Gaming is the developer and distributor of Fubo Sportsbook, the first owned-and-operated live TV streaming-integrated mobile sportsbook in the US.
USAbility is a strategy, compliance and delivery consultancy for iGaming companies. It has supported Fubo Gaming throughout its launch process, including offering consult on the overall market entry preparation program and providing advice in the areas of regulatory compliance, product, operations, trading and risk strategy, sportsbook configurations, and more.
Following receipt of requisite regulatory approvals, Fubo Gaming plans to announce the launch of Fubo Sportsbook in additional markets. USAbility said it will continue to provide tailored delivery plans for each market launch, including state-specific guidance.
“Entering the Iowa market is an important next step to bringing engaging TV and wagering experiences to sports fans across the nation,” Scott Butera, president of Fubo Gaming, said in a statement. “USAbility’s unmatched expertise paired with their knowledge of the American gambling market, particularly in Iowa, played an integral role in helping us enter the state. We look forward to our continued partnership with them as Fubo Sportsbook further builds and delivers a personalized omniscreen experience that turns passive viewers into active participants.”
Avi Howard, CEO of USAbility, added: “We are delighted to have helped Fubo Gaming enter the state of Iowa and are looking forward to working with them to enter more US states in the future. We are looking forward to helping them develop their proposition in the Hawkeye State.”
USAbility says it is the only independent team that has launched multiple brands in various US states since PASPA was repealed.
Fubo Gaming says Fubo Sportsbook is purpose-built to integrate with fuboTV. Fubo Sportsbook officially launched in November 2021. In addition to its current operations in Iowa, it has market access agreements in Pennsylvania via The Cordish Companies, and Indiana and New Jersey via Caesars Entertainment Inc., as well as a license and market access agreement in Arizona via Ak-Chin Indian Community.
The launch timeline of Fubo Sportsbook in each state is subject to obtaining requisite regulatory approvals, the company said.
