Scientific Games expands into Michigan with FireKeepers Casino partnership

Scientific Games becomes the latest operator to enter the Michigan market by agreeing to provide sportsbetting and iGaming to FireKeepers Casino Hotel in Battle Creek.
The Las Vegas-based operator will launch a retail sportsbook at the casino as well as offer its mobile OpenSports sports betting product.
 
Additionally, Scientific Games will provide iGaming, which will be available across Michigan
once it is approved by tribal and state regulators.
 
SG Digital Group Chief Executive Jordan Levin said: “We're incredibly excited to launch with FireKeepers Casino. They're a leader in the Michigan gaming space, and their large core group of satisfied gamers already have a top-notch land-based gaming and entertainment experience. With the passing of this new bill, Scientific Games is excited and honored to help FireKeepers Casino translate and expand the sports and iGaming player experiences across all of Michigan."
 
The 243-room FireKeepers Casino Hotel holds nearly 3,000 slot machines along with 70 table games and live poker.
 
The casino sponsors the annual NASCAR race held at Michigan International Speedway.
 
FireKeepers CEO Kathy George said: “Our goal is to create a 360-degree entertainment
experience, and we're building on the success of our award-winning casino, outstanding dining, entertainment and Four Diamond rated hotel.”
