The online sports betting brand will utilize Paysafe’s payment solution to optimize player acquisition and retention.

The online betting and technology group, PlayUp, has today announced the beginning of a partnership with the payments platform Paysafe. Per the terms of the agreement, PlayUp will utilize Paysafe’s payment offering in New Jersey and Colorado.

Dr. Laila Mintas, CEO of PlayUp USA, said: “As a premium brand entering into a very competitive marketplace, it is crucial for us to partner with leading and world-class suppliers. Paysafe is key for us in meeting our regulatory and compliance standards but also providing our customers with a simple, safe, and secure payment gateway.”

Coming after PlayUp launched in the Garden State last week, the operator hopes this agreement will provide a comprehensive suite of depositing options for players on both its site and mobile app.

Through Paysafe’s platform, players can add and deposit funds using the Skrill USA digital wallet, Paysafecard and Paysafecash eCash solutions.

Zak Cutler, CEO of North America iGaming at Paysafe, added: “We’re delighted to partner with PlayUp for their launch in New Jersey and Colorado. This is an exciting opportunity to provide elevated support for a brand that already has a global presence.

“We’re confident that the combination of our unified payments solution, with its focus on streamlining the payments experience for operators and their customers, and affiliate marketing support from Income Access will amplify PlayUp’s success in the US market.”

Concurrently, PlayUp will aim to boost player acquisition via the launch of an affiliate program powered by Income Access. According to a statement, the operator will work to plug into the affiliate network to optimize player acquisition across New Jersey and Colorado.
