Musicians Najee, Michael Lington, and Paul Taylor join the company.

Announced today, Rivers Casino has signed a partnership with South Restaurant and Jazz Club to bring the property’s musicians to the Philadelphia Event Center.

“We’re honored to partner with South to bring an impressive lineup of jazz performances to Rivers Casino,” said Justin Moore, general manager of Rivers Casino Philadelphia. “Najee, Michael Lington, and Paul Taylor will bring contemporary jazz and classic R&B to The Event Center.”

Specifically, the casino brand has added agreements with three prominent Jazz musicians. Firstly, Najee is a Grammy nominated artist who has made songs with Prince and Stevie Wonder. Next, Paul Taylor has produced 12 albums with multiple billboard number ones. Lastly, Michael Lington has released music alongside famous artists such as Barry Manilow.

“South is excited to partner with Rivers Casino Philadelphia to continue to bring a vibrant jazz scene to the city,” said Robert Bynum, owner of South Restaurant & Jazz Club. “Jazz fans now have two great locations to enjoy the music they love.”

Tickets for these joint events can be purchased at Rivers Casino Philadelphia. The property is located along the Delaware River and features 1,600 slots, 105 table games, 65 hybrid gaming seats, a 28-table poker room, and a sportsbook.

Earlier this year Moore was appointed to become the property’s general manager by the casino’s owner Rush Street Gaming.

Speaking on the appointment, Rush Street CEO at the time, Greg Carlin, said: “Rush Street’s accelerated growth in destination and online gaming has created more opportunities for career development inside the company. After a successful, four-year term in Upstate New York, we are very pleased to welcome Justin to Philly.”
