PointsBet taps former NBA marketer to be its VP of creative

PointsBet, a global online gaming operator, on Friday said it has hired Jeff Gamble (pictured) as its new vice president of creative.

According to PointsBet, Gamble brings nearly two decades of experience leading content and creative teams in the sports and entertainment industry,

Most recently, he served as VP of creative and content for the Brooklyn Nets and Brooklyn Sports and Entertainment (BSE).

The Oregon native is credited with spearheading the creative launch of the Brooklyn Nets brand in 2012, when the franchise moved from New Jersey. He oversaw all creative campaign development for 13 NBA seasons. During this time, he also initiated and ran the team’s social media platforms and content development for BSE’s business properties.

Along with the Nets work, Gamble’s time in Brooklyn included directing the creative efforts behind the opening and branding of Barclays Center arena, the relaunch of Webster Hall and Nassau Coliseum, and leading the creative direction for the New York Islanders and New York Liberty.

Gamble began his career as a graphic designer for Madison Square Garden, including its properties such as the New York Knicks and Radio City Music Hall, leading him into the role of creative director for the then New Jersey Nets.

At PointsBet, Gamble will lead a team of designers, producers and ambassadors, creating content and providing insights and information for PointsBet fans and customers around the world.
