In-game wagering will be featured on college football this weekend.

Simplebet on Wednesday said it is bringing its micro-betting products to the DraftKings sportsbook for the college football weekend.

Simplebet describes itself as a B2B product development company using machine learning and real-time technology to make every moment of every sporting event a betting opportunity.

The company said it has readied real-money micro-betting opportunities for the college football season that will be rolled out in stages. Some markets will be able to wager on the outcome of the next drive, some on the next play, and others on a potential game-changing “moment.”

The launch will commence Thursday night, with the Ohio versus Louisiana game, and will continue with the majority of nationally televised college football games this weekend.

The two parties said Drive markets currently are live across several states, with Next Play and Moment markets expected to roll out as conference play begins in early October.

Drive betting will be available for 49 college games this weekend. DraftKings users will be able to wager on the outcome of each upcoming possession, such as whether a drive will cross the 50-yard line or reach the red zone, result of the drive (e.g., touchdown, field goal, turnover, or punt), and each bet will resolve in minutes or seconds.

When “Next Play” markets come on line, the two companies said users will be able to bet if the next play will be a rush or a pass, if the next play will result in a first down, or if a team will score a touchdown on the upcoming play, all live during the game.

“Moment” markets will surface at relevant times during a game, such as will a field goal be made or missed.

Simplebet and DraftKings said in a statement these betting opportunities will enable an “immersive augmented viewing experience” for college football fans.

Both Next Play markets and Moment markets are expected to be unveiled for college football in the coming weeks.

Simplebet’s college football products will be available this weekend for DraftKings users in Arizona, Iowa, Indiana, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia and Wyoming.

Simplebet and DraftKings anticipate offering these micro-betting products to users in additional states in the coming weeks and throughout the remainder of the college football season, through the bowl games and culminating with the College Football Playoff in January

Users will find these new markets on the DK Sportsbook app in the live betting section.
