Sports gambling affiliate is now able to refer customers in Tennessee to licensed sportsbooks in return for commission payments.

VegasWINNERS, a subsidiary of Winners, Inc., which provides sports betting analysis, research, data, guidance and professional advice, has today announced it has received approval from the Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation to become a sports wagering vendor. The agreement sees VegasWinners become legally able to refer customers in the state to licensed sportsbooks in return for commission.

Tennessee currently operates an online-only sports betting market, with it being legal to wager on sporting events since April 2019, when the Tennessee Sports Gaming Act became law. As of June 30, 2021, the state has taken over $1.1bn in sports wagers. It’s expected this number will be even greater in H2 with the NFL and college football returning.

"This is positive news for our company,” says Wayne Allyn Root, CEO of VegasWINNERS. “It's even more affirmation for our vision as sports gambling explodes in popularity. We hope to have affiliate licenses in every state with legal sports gambling. From my 36 years in this industry, I can tell you Tennessee is a state filled with enthusiastic sports bettors and we are honored and excited to be part of sports betting in the great state of Tennessee."

The Tennessee Education and Lottery Corporation is responsible for the licensing and regulation of online sports wagering throughout the state.

VegasWinners is registered to operate in several states with a number still awaiting approval. The sportsbook operator is currently preparing to launch loyalty rewards and cryptocurrency programs that will include a points system and crypto redemption marketplace. Players will be able to earn rewards using the sportsbook’s app which can then be converted to Krush Coin, a tokenized currency using the blockchain network.
