Property will feature Everi’s CashClub Wallet technology.

Penn National Gaming has today opened the Hollywood Casino York, Pennsylvania’s third Penn National entertainment and gaming property.

Hollywood Casino York features over 500 slot machines, 24 table games and the state’s first retail sportsbook.

The $120m casino features 80,000 square feet of gaming facilities and will employ 290 people.

The property’s doors will open at 12pm local time today and remain open 24/7.

Besides its gaming offering, the casino will feature a 125-seat restaurant, a Barstool sponsored bar as well as a 40-seat grill open 24 hours a day.

“We would like to officially welcome players and guests to Hollywood Casino York,” said Todd George, executive vice president of operations for Penn National. “We’re thrilled to be opening our 43rd property in North America, our third in the Commonwealth, and showcasing Hollywood Casino York’s unique style of premier gaming, dining and entertainment in a truly modern atmosphere. Importantly, it has been an honor to be welcomed by Springettsbury Township and the surrounding communities, creating new jobs and starting a new economic engine right here in York County.

Penn will also utilize Everi’s cashless CashClub Wallet system for its new mychoice Wallet available at the Hollywood Casino York. This new cashless wallet provides patrons with contactless funding on the casino floor.

“We are also very excited to be launching our cutting edge ‘3C’ technology at Hollywood Casino York: our cardless, cashless, contactless mywallet,” continued George. “This is a revolutionary enhancement for our industry, and I want to thank the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board for their support and our technology partners Everi Holdings and Acres Manufacturing. This technology further supports Penn National’s omnichannel business approach where we are providing the best experiences, whether people are playing with us at our properties or on our numerous online offerings.”

Darren Simmons, EVP and fintech business leader for Everi added: "Penn National has deployed our financial technology solutions, including our financial access services solutions, for many years and we are delighted to expand our relationship by providing our CashClub Wallet technology to support the rollout of mychoice Wallet across their nationwide casino footprint. Penn National's thoughtful approach and rapid rollout of this digital technology is an excellent example of the industry leadership position they are taking to provide their guests with more options and convenience, resulting in a more enjoyable gaming experience on their casino floors."

Penn National Gaming currently owns and operates 43 properties across 20 states throughout the United States, totalling over 50,000 gaming machines, 8,800 hotel rooms and 1,300 table games.
