The agreement sees Hacksaw’s games become available in August.

Malta-based games development studio Hacksaw Gaming has agreed a deal with Scientific Games to distribute its instant win and mobile-first slot games in global regulated markets.

Hacksaw Gaming, which has developed games such as Cubes 2 and Chaos Crew, will first launch its offering in the UK through Scientific Game’s OpenGaming platform before moving on to other regions. The deal also sees Scientific Games receive exclusive distribution rights in the US and Canada.

“This deal with Hacksaw Gaming assists in our mission to bring the widest variety of ground-breaking content into the OpenGaming ecosystem,” said Dylan Slaney, SVP gaming, digital at Scientific Games. “With its strong offering of scratch cards and slots games, the partnership provides operators with the ability to differentiate their product offering, using our powerful platform in order to appeal to new players.”

Hacksaw Gaming currently produces over 60 titles, including slots, scratch cards and responsible gambling tools.

The two companies will also work together to develop new products debuting on the OpenGaming platform in late 2021.  All OpenGaming customers will have access to Hacksaw’s full portfolio in August.

Marcus Cordes, COO at Hacksaw Gaming, added: “Partnering with Scientific Games is a huge milestone for [us]. Scientific Games is one of the industry’s largest content distribution networks, so being able to deliver content through one channel to multiple operators with international presence will help with our growth strategy in the years to come. As a fairly new provider, it’s really great to know industry leaders such as Scientific Games want to work with us and see the potential in our content for their operators. Our current portfolio is very strong and we are confident that this partnership will only enhance our position in the market even further to ensure great success for both parties.
