UK betting group will provide services for over 75% of US horse racing.

A deal signed this week between BoyleSports and XB Net will see UK horse racing viewers continue to receive content from the US racing scene.

XB Net, a UK-based platform, will provide pictures, betting services and data for 60 US horse racing tracks.

The renewed agreement will see BoyleSports’ timetable filled with “a prolific pipeline of rapid-cycling betting opportunities, which are proven to enhance engagement for new and existing fans of the sport,” according to a statement.

This content will include two legs of this summer’s Triple Crown, the season’s flagship finale at the Breeders’ Cup World Championships at Del Mar, as well as the Pegasus World Cup.

“BoyleSports is a big brand whose expertise and customer service is best-in-breed,” said Simon FraserSVP of international at XB Net. “So, it’s a timely moment at which to collaborate with their leading digital sportsbook and burgeoning retail focus, two channels which have embraced the benefits and utility of North American racing.”

He added: “While domestic racing is long since back in full swing, those players who were drawn to North American racing during the pandemic have mostly been retained, which constitutes another welcome endorsement of our services.”

XB Net works with betting companies such as Flutter Entertainment, bet365, William Hill and Playtech, and broadcasts over 25,000 races every year.

Speaking on this renewal, trading director at BoyleSports David Burgin said: “Throughout the pandemic’s postponements and lockdowns, our loyal customers quickly came to appreciate the fresh excitement and value that US racing brings to their betting experience.”

“We look forward to seeing how these progressive products continue to perform across some of the highlights on the US calendar, including the Breeders’ Cup World Championships.”

Founded in 1989 by John Boyle, BoyleSports operates mostly in the United Kingdom and recently purchased 33 William Hill sportsbooks throughout the region.
