Poker operator’s largest guaranteed event will have four Day Ones starting July 23.

Americas Cardroom on Monday said it is offering a $10m guarantee for the 2021 version of its Venom Tournament.

The poker operator, which is part of the Winning Poker Network, offered a $5m guarantee for the inaugural Venom Tournament in 2019.

In a press release, Americas Cardroom suggested the final payout will be more than $10m. The operator noted its most recent $8m guaranteed Venom paid more than $9.4m, with the winner taking home more than $1.1m.

The 2021 Venom is guaranteeing both first place and second place will receive more than $1m.

The tournament is scheduled to run from July 23 through August 4. The multi-day event has four Day 1 options: July 23, 25 and 30, and August 1.

Day 2 will commence August 2 with approximately 11 hours of play. Day 3 will take place August 3 and will play down to the final table, which will follow on August 4.

The direct buy-in fee is $2,650, but tournament organizers said there are several options to win a seat for lower fees.

In advance of the tournament, Americas Cardroom will be hosting Venom Fever, a series of satellites that award hundreds of Venom seats. Also on the schedule are Venom Blitz Steps. Starting at just 11 cents, players can enter at any level and move up to the next one by earning 5,000 chips. After finishing the ninth level, players will receive a $2,650 seat.

“The $10m Venom is our biggest tournament ever,” Michael Harris, spokesperson for Americas Cardroom, said in a statement. “Judging by how successful the last Venom tournaments were, we expect to see our latest one to destroy the record books.”

Americas Cardroom joined the Winning Poker Network in 2011. The Winning Poker Network has been dealing cards since 2001.
