BetMGM on Monday said it has launched BetMGM Poker in Michigan, the second US state in which the company is offering online poker, joining New Jersey.
The operator’s poker offering is powered by the partypoker US network, which combines the BetMGM Poker, Borgata Poker and partypoker US brands.
In January, BetMGM launched its online sports betting and casino offerings in Michigan.
The company said players on BetMGM Poker will have access to benefits tied to MGM Grand Detroit and MGM Resorts' casino-resorts across the US.
Players in Michigan will be able to join poker rooms with players statewide. BetMGM Poker includes poker variants, tournaments and cash-games at various buy-in levels.
The company said BetMGM Poker will be integrated with the sports betting and casino mobile app, allowing players to manage their funds with one wallet.
The BetMGM Poker app is now available for download in Michigan on both iOS and Android and accessible via desktop.
“The launch of BetMGM Poker in Michigan fully rounds out our premier gaming portfolio in the state,” Adam Greenblatt, CEO, BetMGM, said in a statement. “BetMGM’s sports betting and casino offerings have been met with early success in Michigan and we are thrilled to provide players with another exciting gaming option.”
Ray Stefanelli, director of poker, BetMGM, added, “The demand for online poker in Michigan was made clear by players across the state. BetMGM Poker is proud to offer them a seat at our tables and we are confident that BetMGM Michigan customers will enjoy an engaging, reliable and fun poker experience.”
