Spotlight Sports Group announces Justin Geiger appointment

Spotlight Sports Group has hired Justin Geiger as VP of sales.

The appointment of the new VP highlights the group’s ambition to expand in the US. Washington-based Geiger will become the first senior commercial recruit operating from the US.

Geiger brings with him over 15 years of experience in strategic sales, after working for a variety of industries.

The role will focus mainly on B2B sports betting content and betting operator deals. Through Pickswise, Geiger will be tasked with agreeing partnerships with media and sports betting operators.

He will be entrusted to grow the portfolio of American partners into the group's partnerships with betting operators across the European Market.

CCO at Spotlight Sports Group, Sam Houlding said: “It’s a timely appointment for the group in the US following the really strong foundation we’ve set with the growth of Pickswise and the establishment of our US B2B business.

“Justin brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of the landscape, and I’ve no doubt he’ll be a great success in advancing our business efforts as we look to scale quickly and further build on our operation in the coming months."

Geiger said: “It’s a huge opportunity to grow the success of Spotlight Sports Group in the US. The heritage and experience this business has in the UK and Europe is extensive and the innovation  we are bringing to the US is incredibly exciting."
