Northstar Gaming names Corey Goodman as interim CEO
Goodman is filling the spot vacated by Michael Moskowitz.

Canadian company Northstar Gaming Holdings has appointed a new interim CEO.
Corey Goodman will serve as the interim CEO, effective immediately. The company recently announced its former CEO, Michaell Moskowitz, is no longer with Northstar Gaming.
Director Dean MacDonald welcomed Goodman to his new position by saying, “Mr. Goodman has been an essential contributor since the founding of the Company. The Board has full confidence in his leadership and his deep knowledge of our business.
“His balanced and disciplined approach will help ensure continuity while we focus on strengthening performance and positioning NorthStar for long-term growth.”
The company said it will continue to update stakeholders as it advances its operational and financial priorities.
Moskowitz also served as the Chair for the company’s Board of Directors. Northstar Gaming announced that MacDonald will fill the role of Board Chair moving forward, following his recent appointment.
MacDonald has served on the board for the past two years.
Northstar announced other board changes.
The company said in statement, “Barry Shafran has resigned from the Board of Directors, effective immediately. Mr. Shafran served as Chair of the Audit Committee and the Board thanks him for his service and contributions.
“An announcement regarding the appointment of an additional independent director and a new Chair of the Audit Committee will be made once the Board has finalized its selection.”
Northstar Gaming currently owns and operates casino and sportsbook platform, Northstar Bets.
