BetMGM names Jarrod Schwarz as Chief Operating Officer

BetMGM has appointed Jarrod Schwarz to serve as its new Chief Operating Officer.
For the past five years, Schwarz has held the role Chief Product Officer with BetMGM. As the new COO, Schwarz will be responsible for overseeing product, customer operations, technology and trading, the company said.
CEO Adam Greenblatt shared his enthusiasm for this appointment by saying, “Jarrod has been an integral part of our incredible team, building BetMGM into one of the most recognizable and successful brands in sports betting and iGaming. He has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of our business.
“I’m confident that this change will ensure we continue to deliver exceptional products and experiences to our players.”
Schwarz has more than 20 years of experience in the industry and has aided in building digital products for well-known sports, entertainment and e-commerce brands around the world.
Before joining BetMGM, he worked for more than seven years at Disney. He also worked for eBay for six years, where he held the role of as Vice President of Product for Bloomspot, a startup JP Morgan Chase acquired.
