Key Points
- The MGCB sent cease-and-desist orders to Bspin, Everygame, Everygame Sports, Kudos, PlayCroco, Slots of Vegas, Spin Dimension and Super Slots
- The MGCB enforcement action was said to “reinforce(s) the agency’s mission to protect players, ensure fair play and safeguard personal and financial information”
The Michigan Gaming Control Board (MGCB) has issued cease-and-desist letters to eight unregulated online casinos found to be in violation of the Lawful Internet Gaming Act, the Michigan Gaming Control and Revenue Act, and sections of the Michigan Penal Code.
The online casinos issued cease-and-desist letters were found to be offering casino-style games or interactive wagering without state-required licensing and have been directed to “immediately halt” all Michigan-related operations.
“These unlawful operators try to present themselves as legitimate entertainment options, but they offer zero player protections, no accountability and a real risk to consumers,” MGCB Executive Director Henry Williams said.
“Our message is simple: If you want to offer gambling in Michigan, follow the law or we will stop you. We will continue to work aggressively to keep illegal gambling out of our state.”
Good to know: Michigan Senator Veronica Klinefelt proposed Senate Bill 511 in September 2025, which would allow for social wagering contests throughout the state
The MGCB enforcement action was also said to “reinforce(s) the agency’s mission to protect players, ensure fair play and safeguard personal and financial information” from the gambling risks introduced by illegal platforms.
The MGCB sent cease-and-desist orders to Bspin, Everygame, Everygame Sports, Kudos, PlayCroco, Slots of Vegas, Spin Dimension and Super Slots, as failure to comply with the orders could result in further actions with the Michigan Department of Attorney General.
