The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) has officially recommended gaming supplier Bluberi for licensing throughout the state, as the decision now awaits consideration from the Nevada Gaming Commission on September 25.
“This is an exciting day for Bluberi and an exciting day for the state of Nevada,” Bluberi Private Legal Counsel Scott Scherer said.
“Blueberi is a very innovative company that makes excellent products and many Nevada licensees are excited to have them come here.”
Gaming America covered the supplier’s opening of an 80,000 sq ft Las Vegas headquarters in April 2024, having also launched its Beacon Elite product line in the same year. Bluberi entered 29 new jurisdictions throughout 2024, and secured $55m to finance the roll-out of new product inventory.
“We already do business with a number of Nevada licensees in different jurisdictions,” Bluberi CEO Andrew Burke said.
“We know what their standards are and many of us who have worked in the business for a long time know what it means to be a Nevada licensee and the standard we need to operate in the state.”
Good to know: Kambi Group CEO Werner Becher was officially recommended for a gaming license by the NGCB on August 6 following approval of the provider’s Manufacturer & Distributor and Information Services licenses in January 2025
NGCB Chairman Mike Dreitzer welcomed the supplier as a Nevada licensee on September 10, having said, “You have the ability to bring your unique products to Nevada.
“Mr. Burke, to your credit, you assembled a terrific team in a very difficult industry. To be able to carve out your niche and grow from there against some of the giants that have been established for decades, that’s kudos to you.”
In May 2025, Bluberi announced a new partnership with Design Works Gaming to integrate the company’s game mechanics into Bluberi’s established portfolio.
