Bluberi unlocks new office space during Open House ceremony

Gaming America was in attendance to hear from speakers at the event and tour the new 80,000 sq ft property.
Having been founded over 30 years ago in Drummondville, a city located in Quebec, Canada, Bluberi has grown from a small start-up company to become a major supplier of casino floor games in the gaming industry. After leaving Drummondville to open its main headquarters in Las Vegas, Nevada, Bluberi held an “unlocking” ceremony for its newest 80,000 sq ft office space on May 30.

Bluberi originally made the move to Las Vegas in a 20,000 sq ft, compact location that forced many executives to share tight quarters and made for a difficult space to host partners and potential customers. With its new office, executives can now be offered their own corner offices and a large warehouse is included for the construction of the supplier’s casino floor games. The company also has a new showroom that features different versions of its classic game, Devil’s Lock, which inspired the ceremony name.
“We’re really thrilled to be moving into this new office and for the community as a whole. I’m just excited our partners, employees, their families and potential customers could join us today for the ceremony. Big businesses have to start small in order to become successful and that’s what we’ve attempted to do,” Bluberi CEO Andrew Burke said when speaking with Gaming America.
The company had many different speakers come out for the event, including Burke, Nevada Secretary of State Cisco Aguilar, Clark County Commissioner Michael Naft and Sonia Joya, a representative for Governor Joe Lombardo.
Naft expressed his joy for the company, recounting how Bluberi has grown from only four employees to now having over 50 working in the new office space. Bluberi also took part in an employment program with the state, having students come work in its new office during the weeks leading up to the Open House.
“Andrew has taken the task of being a first-time CEO and has done such an amazing job. Bluberi has acted as an employment agency for students like Liz to offer a complete education and take part in our mission. The state of Nevada is here to assist new businesses but also stay out of the way for operations. We provide what they need to be successful and Bluberi has done just that,” Secretary Aguilar said during the ceremony.
“Las Vegas is the center of the gaming universe and I told our investors the headquarters needed to be here. This company has a rich history, especially in technology, art and animation, that is what stood out to me especially before I took the position. And just like Nevada, I believe the story of Bluberi is battle born as well,” Burke said in his opening remarks.
Bluberi also recently opened its newest gaming development studio in Austin, Texas during January of this year, joining existing studios still located in Drummondville as well as Reno, NV and Moncton, New Brunswick.
