Foxwoods Resort Casino will be launching its new poker room on September 9 as part of a grand opening ceremony, as live dealing is set to officially begin at 11am local time while guests will also have the chance to win special giveaways throughout the day.
Described as a “technological upgrade” by the operator, the new poker room will feature automated sign-up devices, 37 television screens to offer live viewing of sports and poker and nearby DraftKings betting kiosks.
The poker room is set to be introduced in the Fox Tower, which is reported to be Foxwoods Resort Casino’s most recently enhanced hotel tower and part of a “broader resort revolution” to combine dining, nightlife and technology with guest service.
Since launching the “revolution,” Foxwoods Resort Casino has partnered with brands such as DraftKings, Hells Kitchen and Great Wolf Lodge in the hopes of upgrading and expanding its offering to consumers.
