MGM Resorts extends rewards program to cruise line gameplay

MGM Resorts International has now advanced its rewards program to consumer gameplay on cruise lines such as Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises, where members can provide their account number and use a SeaPass card while playing slots, video poker or table games.
“Extending the opportunity to earn onboard is a true game changer for our members,” MGM Resorts VP of Loyalty Marketing Anil Mansukhani said.
“We’re always looking to raise the stakes for our best-in-class program, and the ability for our members to earn MGM Rewards on gaming spend when vacationing at sea maximizes every dollar spent.”

MGM rewards platinum and NOIR members will reportedly receive greater access to benefits for Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises, such as upgraded stateroom types, a larger variety of itineraries and longer cruise options.
All MGM Rewards members will also receive an onboard free play benefit, based on rewards tier status at the time of booking. NOIR members receive $200, while platinum, gold, pearl and sapphire are given $100, $75, $50 and $25, respectively.
