Brazil certifies Risk Cherry as a compliance body

The Brazilian Ministry of Finance has authorised the Malta-based company to operate in the country.

The Brazilian Ministry of Finance has authorised Risk Cherry, legally registered as Lean Lab Company Limited, to inspect and certify online games and live dealer studios across Brazil under the national betting regulation.

According to an ordinance published in Brazil’s official government gazette, the Secretary of Prizes and Betting has granted Risk Cherry, formally Lean Lab Company Limited, a three-year operational permit. The certification applies to two areas: live studios, used for real-time betting broadcasts, and also for online games such as slots and casino platforms.

The approval confirms that Risk Cherry meets Brazil’s legal, fiscal and technical standards to oversee game fairness and regulatory compliance, ensuring games are safe, transparent and aligned with Brazil’s fixed-odds betting regulation, fully enforced since January.Risk Cherry describes itself in its website as “an independent and distinct testing laboratory founded by pioneers in the online gambling sector.” The company’s evaluations are expected to support the growing list of authorised operators in Brazil.
