Following the launch of its Electric Poker game in Michigan and Pennsylvania during late 2024, DraftKings Casino has officially debuted the offering to New Jersey players starting on March 11.

“Since launching Electric Poker in August, the reception from DraftKings Casino players has been very positive, leading to the expansion of the exclusive product to New Jersey,” DraftKings VP of iGaming Marketing and Operations Jason March said.

“We’re excited to be able to offer this exceptional title to more customers, delivering them a one-of-a-kind, innovative game and a first-class online poker experience.”

According to DraftKings, the in-house-built poker game has received positive engagement from customers since launch, leading to expansion across Michigan, Pennsylvania and now New Jersey.

Electric Poker is based on standard No Limit Texas Hold ’em rules with a “DraftKings twist,” including a randomly generated prize pool based on the prize multiplier, blind levels lasting two minutes, an electric mode feature and more.

Good to know: DraftKings renewed its State Council Funding Program to further support nationwide resources on March 5 in celebration of Problem Gambling Awareness Month

Eligible players in Michigan, Pennsylvania and New Jersey will be matched with other poker participants for games that allow customers to pick from different buy-in levels, ranging from $1 to $25, and include prize multipliers up to 10,000x.

Launched in 2018, DraftKings Casino is currently live in five US states and the province of Ontario, attempting to provide customers with a regulated gaming experience and online casino games such as Electric Poker.
