Lu Tsai named VP of Asian Player Development for Seminole Hard Rock Tampa

Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa has appointed Lu Tsai to the role of VP of Asian Player Development, where he is set to report directly to the property’s SVP of Marketing Mikhail Gaushkin.
Tsai will lead strategic initiatives aimed at cultivating and expanding player growth for Seminole Hard Rock Tampa within the Asian communities. Having worked in the gaming and hospitality industry for over 25 years, Tsai held various executive roles at Harrah’s and Caesars Las Vegas for more than a decade, from the Executive Host position to Director.
He also spent 15 years in leadership positions across Macau, Vietnam and South Korea properties, working with establishments such as City of Dreams, Galaxy, Grand Ho Tram, Inspire and SJM. His roles were said to have ranged from Director to CMO.
During his tenure, he successfully led single property gross gaming revenue at City of Dreams and Galaxy Macau, additionally playing a crucial role in the pre-opening teams for Harrah’s in 2004, Grand Lisboa Place in 2019 and Mohegan Inspire in 2023.

On January 23, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa unveiled more than $65m worth of renovations and upgrades, including a new gaming floor, the re-launch of its Fresh Harvest Buffet and the opening of a new hotel tower.
The debut of the gaming floor and the re-opening of the Fresh Harvest Buffet were celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony, while the property eventually began to offer guests rooms in the new hotel tower by the end of January.
