NASCAR and 1/ST Technology to launch pari-mutuel NASCAR wagering

NASCAR has partnered with 1/ST Technology to launch pari-mutuel NASCAR wagering. 

This deal will allow operators to offer pari-mutuel betting on NASCAR events in eligible US jurisdictions and will be available both online and in-person. 

Pari-mutuel wagering is generally seen within horseracing and sees sportsbooks offer event markets with many different possible outcomes and bet types by taking a percentage of the money wagered. Payouts will vary based on how much is wagered. 

Also, within this “landmark agreement,” 1/ST Technology will provide a variety of betting opportunities at marquee NASCAR events, with the platform offering real-time updates and the chance for fans to predict race outcomes.
