The fantasy and DFS platform stated that StatsHub attempts to challenge or reaffirm existing team and player narratives that are typically influenced by raw statistics.

Key points:

- FTN has made access to the StatsHub tool free for all users ahead of the Wild Card round of the NFL Playoffs, extending from January 7-13

- The update will look to enhance user-friendly experiences with a more organized breakdown of FTN’s advanced statistics

FTN Network has released an updated version of its StatsHub tool ahead of the 2024-2025 NFL Playoffs and will make access to the tool free for all users from January 7-13. StatsHub aims to “challenge or reaffirm” existing team and player narratives that are typically influenced by raw statistics.

The daily fantasy sports (DFS) provider has updated StatsHub in order to enhance the user-friendly experience with a more organized breakdown of FTN’s advanced statistics, particularly its proprietary DVOA metric.

It is also said to offer greater distinction between data points such as efficiency and tendency metrics that weren’t separated in the previous version, assisting users to make informed decisions about their DFS and fantasy lineups.

"The expansion of StatsHub will enable us to provide more visibility for our charted data,” FTN Network CEO Perry Gershon said.

“This is especially evident when considering the pricing which stands out as a superior deal against comparable companies’ platform offerings.”

Datapoint categories in the update will include base, efficiency, coverage, alignment, air yards, deep receiving, usage, run types, red zone, tendencies, deep passing and pressure.

Good to know: The FTN Network was founded in 2020, signing Aaron Schatz to a multi-year contract in August 2023 to become the company’s Chief Analytics Officer

"For those wanting to try StatsHub or those looking for the most advanced sports analytics tool on the market, this week's trial is the perfect opportunity to test it out and see what FTN can offer. With StatsHub, you have the ultimate tool for football knowledge as a fan, fantasy player, bettor or member of the media,” PFN Network Chief Data Officer Frank Brank said.

“StatsHub is incredibly versatile and can be used to reinforce a trend you’ve noticed, push you to make smarter waiver wire decisions, or be the driving force behind placing more strategic bets.”

The free trial offered by FTN Network will extend throughout the NFL Playoffs’ Wild Card round, which is set to include Super Bowl favorites such as the Buffalo Bills, Philadelphia Eagles and Baltimore Ravens.
