Habanero attains Peruvian supplier license

Supplier expands in the LatAm region following MINCETUR approval.
Key Points
- Habanero gains a supplier license for the Peruvian market
- This news comes following official approval from the nation’s regulator, MINCETUR
Games provider Habanero has announced its acquisition of a Peruvian supplier license from the nation’s Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR).
Following this latest approval, Habanero will now begin to distribute its range of online gaming titles, including Hot Hot Fruit and Zues Deluxe, to players in the Peruvian market. This latest foray into the South American market means that Habanero is now live in 25 global jurisdictions.
The company’s LatAm expansion phase began back in 2021 when the supplier expanded into Colombia via partnership with VirtualSoft, introducing its gaming content to the nation’s players through the operator. Since that time, Habanero has gone live in additional jurisdictions including Argentina, Panama and now Peru.
After opening its online gaming and sports betting markets early this year, Peru has gone from strength to strength, receiving just shy of 150 license applications within its first month of operations.
Good to know: Last week, BGaming also attained a Peruvian supplier license, following MINCETUR approval
Habanero’s Head of Business Development, Arcangelo Lonoce, commented on the company’s latest LatAm license acquisition, saying, “Peru is one of the most promising up-and-coming markets in Latin America and we are delighted to position ourselves as a trusted and dependable supplier in the region.”
“Being awarded this highly sought-after accreditation represents the next chapter of our growth strategy and allows us to keep supporting our current and future clients while introducing even more players to Habanero’s tried and tested titles.”
This latest news comes a year after Habanero secured a B2B license for slot games and RNG portfolio expansion within the Swedish market in December 2023. This expansive move in the Scandanavian region was then followed by a Danish-based partnership with NetBet Casino in April.
