Key points:
- BGaming has received its B2B supplier license to enter the Peruvian market
- The license enables BGaming to distribute its online gaming portfolio and gaming software system in the nation
- The move comes as part of a recent 2024 LatAm expansion strategy
BGaming has announced its entry into the Peruvian market following the acquisition of a B2B supplier license from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR).
This latest announcement sees the provider gain official regulatory approval to distribute its online gaming portfolio in the region, as well as its gaming software system. The acquisition of this B2B certification comes as the latest update in a string of recent expansive moves across the LatAm region by BGaming.
In April 2023, BGaming partnered with Mexican online casino and sports betting operator Betmexico.mx, a move that was then followed in March of this year by an additional collaboration with Blokotech in Argentina and Chile.
Good to know: 2024 has also seen the supplier expand through Eastern Europe, most recently in Bulgaria and Lithuania
Speaking on the latest news, Marina Ostrovtsova, CEO at BGaming, said: “Securing the Peru licence marks a pivotal moment in BGaming's global expansion. This certification not only strengthens our presence in Latin America but also underscores our commitment to bringing high-quality, immersive gaming experiences to new audiences.”
“We are excited about the opportunities this will unlock, both in terms of growth and the reception of our slots in this new market.”
Recent discourse in the LatAm region has been almost entirely centered around Brazil, a nation into which BGaming also made inroads in April via a partnership with Salsa Technology. This move was quickly followed by an additional partnership arrangement with Atlas-IAC.
