Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana launches recruitment campaign

The property is seeking to fill 750 new positions before its opening date set during Q1 2025.

Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana has launched a recruitment campaign in order to fill a number of new positions before its grand opening date. The property stated it has 750 open jobs that need to be filled before the full launch set for the first quarter of 2025. 

“We are building an exceptional team at Live! Louisiana. Whether you’re a seasoned industry professional or looking to start a new career, now is the perfect time to apply,” Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana EVP and GM John Chaszar said. 

“Our goal is to hire a diverse group of talented team members and provide them with the training and development opportunities needed to succeed.”

Interested applicants that are at least 18 years of age are encouraged to explore job descriptions and requirements, with online registration available in order to expedite the application process for their desired position. 

Career opportunities are available in every field according to the announcement, including hotel and gaming operations, finance, marketing, human resources, information technologies, food & beverage, facilities, security & surveillance and more.

Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana cost more than $270m to develop and represents the first Land-based casino to be launched in the Shreveport-Bossier City market. The property will have over 47,000 sq ft of gaming space, which is set to include more than 1,000 slots and electronic table games as well as 40+ live table games and a sportsbook. 

“Our team members are projected to earn a combined $34m annually in salaries, wages and tips. This will have a tremendous impact on both individual livelihoods and the regional economy,” Chaszar said. 

Live! Casino & Hotel Louisiana was developed by the Cordish Companies, which has also helped to launch Live! properties in Maryland, Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.
