MGM Resorts announces events for 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix

A wealth of MGM-run events will be taking place across the city in the buildup to race weekend.
Key Points
- MGM Resorts has teamed up with a range of properties across the Vegas Strip for the provision of F1-related experiences during race weekend
- Events will include culinary events, watching parties and interactive VR experiences
As part of the upcoming race week for the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix, MGM Resorts has put together a number of F1-related promotional activities and experiences that will be taking place across the strip in the build-up to and over the race weekend.
For the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix, MGM Resorts has teamed up with Bellagio to host new experiences for race enthusiasts in the city. Between November 21 – 23, Bellagio’s main driveway will be altered to incorporate a range of experiences, with the Fountain Club also offering a VIP race weekend experience.
Good to know: In March, MGM Resorts announced it would bring back Bellagio Fountain Club during the Grand Prix.
Additionally, for fans looking for a unique way to watch the race, the Cosmopolitan is debuting a Boulevard Watch Party – located at the Boulevard Rooftop pool. At ARIA, a new virtual reality Grand Prix experience simulator has been fitted – with the Brooklyn Bridge in front of New York-New York offering an interactive experience developed in tandem with the Williams team.
Andrew Lanzino, MGM Resorts’ Vice President of Citywide Events Strategy, expressed excitement regarding the buildup to F1 week, saying, “We are gearing up for this year’s race with a variety of new experiences at our resorts along the track that will make this Grand Prix event uniquely Las Vegas. Our most famous landmarks, destinations, entertainers and culinary talents will take part in delivering a race weekend that’s unbeatable.”
For MGM Resorts, this latest development comes hot on the heels of the operator’s Q3 2024 financial results, in which the company reported a 5% revenue increase year-over-year to $4.2bn, with MGM China being a primary driver. Also last month, MGM Resorts revealed its expanded partnership with Marriot Bonvoy for the upcoming launch of W Las Vegas – which will be situated at Mandalay Bay.
