Finland Lottery subsidiary launches in Virginia

Fennica Gaming has announced the launch of its e-Instant gaming titles in the Virginian market in partnership with EQL Games.

EQL is set to offer a new selection of Fennica’s online gaming titles to its players through the NeoPollard Interactive platform.  

A subsidiary of the Finland Lottery, Fennica Gaming’s range of e-Instant games have been designed specifically for mobile, on-the-go use. Included as part of the new arrangement are three Fennica Gaming titles, namely Boulder Blast, Miner Jack’s Combo Caverns and Wobblyblobs. These titles will now be on offer to players in the Virginian market through the NeoPollard Interactive platform in partnership with US aggregator, EQL Games. 

EQL Games CEO, Brad Cummings, said, “We’re incredibly proud to partner with Fennica Gaming, bringing their suite of cutting-edge e-Instant products to the Virginia Lottery’s online platform. When I first saw these games, I knew their casual gaming approach to e-Instant products would find an important home in the US iLottery market.” 

For the Virginia Lottery, the inclusion of Fennica’s e-Instant gaming portfolio comes as part of a diversification strategy that sees the organization turn its focus away from iLottery. Further, earlier this month, the state of Virginia also reported $415.4m sports betting handle for June.

Fennica Gaming SVP Customers and Marketing, Joni Hovi, also commented on the development, saying, “We are excited to provide Virginia Lottery the e-Instants we have been creating since 2004. We have a vast lottery knowledge through our parent company, Veikkaus, the Finnish National Lottery, and offer games featuring the latest standards and player preferences. We are eager to learn Virginia players’ preferences so we can tailor our offering to meet the Virginia Lottery’s needs through our ‘Games as a Service.”
